LOL, yeah, getting the car up on stands is half the battle. I've been thinking real hard about buying a garage lift because why not make it a bit easier on myself?
It was miserable yesterday (40 and rainy) but thankfully rotor/pad installs are pretty easy. 65 and sunny today so the world is my oyster.

So I was looking for a solution to keep my dashcam running while the car was off and parked that didn't require me to splice into the rearview mirror and break something so I found this:
Then bought a 3 USB port AC adapter and a 6 foot USB type A to type B adapter so I could keep my phone charging and the dashcam running off that while the car is on. When the car is parked just swap the cable over to the battery. Great success.

Amazon.com : Blackvue Power Magic Pro Vehicle Battery Discharge Prevention for Parking Mode : Vehicle Power Inverters : Car Electronics
You can Also use this power magic pro adapter and never have to touch any cables again and it connects to fuse box near the driver pedals. You can also just run the cable along the side pillars for a clean install.

Reminds me of the Mercury Marauder.
Some cars are designed to be murdered. That was one of them.

I was so tired I didn't really feel like putting it through the paces so I just went to the store to get some beer and called it a day. Initial assessment is man, it even feels low but not floaty so that's good. When I hit bumps in the road I hear a knock so I need to check that out. Fun stuff.

That first pic looks good, BTW. Need better pics to really see how it's turning out.

How in the world do you figure out where to set the CO height when to do that properly you have to set the car back down? Without a lift, I think that would drive even a patient person insane. I have this image of you screaming and scaring the neighbor kids.

If not, I wouldn't bother with Jack stands once installed. I'd lower it, check the height, then raise it, make an adjustment and lower and recheck.
If however, you need to get under the car, then I'd use Jack stands.
I personally feel confident in a jack if I'm not going under there. Not sure if this behavior is frowned upon, but it is what it is.
If all I was doing is changing a tire, I wouldn't bother with Jack stands...Jack only. Again, not sure if this is sound advice. Please consult your lawyer, and don't do anything I just said above (legal disclaimer).
