They're different, but they might work for what you're trying to do. The covers might the same, doubt it, but the part that connects to the car is different.

Shame this site doesn't allow larger sig photos, but it is what it is, so I'm playing by the rules. If you want me to help you come up with something, PM me some details and I'll see what I can do. The tiny resolution somewhat limits things, however.
I may take you up on that once I get some better pictures!

You could just call then and ask if they'll fit or just order them and return them if they don't fit.

Fast Intentions all the way. I installed a set of the resonated HFCs to help reduce the pitch of my STILLEN CBE. They are absolutely worth every penny! The build quality is top notch. Every weld is beaded and sanded to perfection. My G is a DD, and the cats have a the same mellow tone even after nearly 25k miles.

To my knowledge, these cats are always built to order, so despite the few weeks it will take to receive them, they're well worth it. PM me if you have any other questions.

Have any of you guys reached out to Lance 1cleanG for pricing on the FI HFCS?
I don't have any issues or regrets with my Kinetix HFCS and there was no wait time for those either.

I did. As a matter of fact, after I reached out he put together a GB (which returned several times by popular demand) to offer the best pricing AND priority build times. Great member to do business with!

I'm ordering a pair of resonated cats the day after Xmas, and will be going through Lance. The wait time for me is irrelevant, because Winter. Although I suspect that once they arrive, I'll probably make arrangements for the install. It's difficult to let something like that sit in the corner for months, mocking you.

You know what? Tell him Rochester is buying now too, and see if a group buy is feasible, how many people need to sign up, etc. I know Newt here is going to buy a pair sooner than later. That's at least three.

I wouldn't turn down an additional savings from a group buy. See what you can do, Zoster. But it has to be quick, because Lance told me Fast Intentions reevaluates pricing after January 1st.

Wait, maybe I'm reading that wrong. Why are you asking if you already have aftermarket cats?

I think he may be recommending you get kinetics instead of FI, since he seems to like them, and has no wait time. If they are cheaper, too, that's another point of comparison, hence the price questions

I think the most salient point here is that there is not a single documented case - in my anecdotal forum-searching experience - of rasp, or dissatisfaction with the FI RHFCs (myself included!) Throw a rock, however, and you can find a dozen people that have gotten rid of their kinetix hfcs. FWIW.
