Also, at $90K each, the production run will be far fewer than the G37. Finding a properly depreciated specimen will take much more work.
I haven't a clue. However, their reliability can only be better than it used to be, which was horrible a few decades ago. As for maintenance... I'm more inclined to think parts might be $$$ on that supercharged V6, and the maintenance costs be only as good as the mechanic. And the "S" is the mid-range between the F Type and the F Type-R, so I imagine the yield will be higher on that than the Type-R V8.

But it's all just conjecture, on a loose plan for "next car", which is many years away, knock on wood. Still have to see what comes of my financial priorities once the kids get into college. It's entirely possible I won't have any hobby car in six years. (That would suck.)

No he did not. The guy who did them, his name is Kevin and they live close to each other, I spoke to him, he's a great fan of my headlights and tailights and does that sort of thing on his own I guess

Went on a pretty extensive test drive in the F-Type S Coupe this summer, probably 20 to 30 miles, in all kinds of road conditions. And I fell completely in love with the car. Afterwards, my modified G37S 6MT felt cheap and slow. Took me a few weeks to realign my POV, and start appreciating my Infiniti again.

The only thing wrong (per se) with that car, other than the outrageous $90K price-tag, was the lack of a proper manual transmission. So assuming (hoping) that the F-Type depreciates like a rock, it's a very real plan to be buying one used at 3-4 years old, in about 5-6 years.
Only $90k. Lucky. I'm not sure about the exact price tag here, but I do know that a new Porsche Turbo Cabriolet (not the S model) is $270k, so I'm pretty sure that the Jaguar F-type S here goes for over $120k and the F-type R might be over $150k.

I should build one on the site and send information to my local dealer to see how pricey it really is, just for the lols.

Buffalo is about 75 miles west of Rochester. They got almost six feet of snow, and we got nothing.

We're all pretty amazed.

I sent him a message on Facebook to see if he would take orders to have the tails done. He will. The price is a little high, so I may try to talk him down a bit, but we'll see what happens.

Yeah I know what the price is, I asked him out of curiosity right away, definitely a unique mod.
I've said it on FB before and will say it again, if not for my evil iron man lights front and back
I probably would go for it, but I am not going to.

The price is quite reasonable considering
the amount of work and caution you have to put in to open the tailights or rather cut them open...
hence why my tailights were very expensive too, actually quite more what he's asking for those, but that was paid by the previous owner
I got them for a nice deal

As soon as I get the money to buy your tails, and pay to have him do it I'm 90% sure I'll do it. One of the pluses for doing it, imo, is that with the oem tails the turn signal is not very bright while the brake lights are on.

Yup, very true indeed, something I also noticed myself too. Just wondering how visible... Oh wait..

Well actually his video didn't show the brake lights on at the same time with turn signal, it did show the parking light rings with turn signal rings but not with brakes applied at the same time.

No but it is doing from a filament bulb to an led so it would be an improvement either way.
