As to my old tranny I had similar issue, it is commonly referred to as chatter noise which seems to be it by what you're describing.
Did the noise occur when you released clutch pedal and when it was in Neutral?
Funny thing is about my transmission being replaced, It was something I wanted to bring up at next visit at the dealer but happened to leave it there before the April meet up for noisy power steering pump to be replaced under warranty(which they did) but they also told me they were gonna replace the transmission under warranty without me even mentioning a thing about it, so I was happy, but didn't get the whole clutch + flywheel package with it. Still a happy camper though.

The second was as I hit the throttle I heard a click, almost like a loose or failed Ujoint. It clicked/popped again as I would release the throttle and the car/torque shifted forward. Not sure if that makes sense, but it definitely wasn't normal.
I'm just hoping this doesn't mean the car was beat on. I told them to give the rest of the power train a once over and make sure everything was in good shape.

There were actually two noises. The first was inbetween 1-2 I'm neutral, with the clutch disengaged which sounded like the chatter you had.

Don't tease with the seat pics. Come one, man, lay them out in your build thread and lets see. The red stitching on black leather makes a great first impression, but I'd like to see it in a larger context, please.
"nifty shifty", eh? Oh hey, totally custom stuff. Nice find.

Looks like this nifty-shifty place has a handle on the color/material INFINITI uses for the shift boot on the Stone Leather interior:
Oh wow... I wonder if they could do a matching parking-brake handle boot?

Here are the seats, I wanted leather (pleather?) Bride seats and these used full bucket seats costed me was less than half the price of the new reclinable Eurosters. Hopefully I don't regret the choice later on!
Discontinued Bride PROS seats:
I'm not sure, I totally forgot to ask when I was ordering my shiftboot. I will ping him to see if he can make them.
