I found a 2011 graphite shadow 6mt for $26k in TN that I may go look at next weekend if it's still available, but I haven't driven a stick since I was 16, and even then it wasn't very much, which was 9 years ago, so I'm not really sure what to look for in terms of clutch feel or anything like that.
No. Stop right there, you sir are not getting a graphite shadow 6mt hahaha. Who cares if it was 9 years ago Kirk, you can do it haha. Wow at first reading your post about this I was like "woah wait what? " lol honestly Kirk, you are over thinking.. no matter what you do, cars never gonna look perfect 100% because there's always gonna be someone or something that's gonna **** it up...

Lol. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to go down to look at it. A few things have to take place between now and then. One the dealership has to agree to swap over my mods, mainly my exhaust, wheels and possibly intakes (not really too worried about that). Plus I'm suppose to work this coming Saturday, which would be the only time if have to go down there. So as long as it doesn't sell between now and in two Saturdays and they agree to swap my mods over and we can agree on a price then maybe I will get it. Not sure though.

I'd say go for it! I don't regret ever getting my 2010 G37S 6MT!

No regrets here either. I've only owned 9 cars since 1981 (wife's cars notwithstanding), and 6 of them had a manual transmission.

I say get something new, because for you to get a 6MT now, that means you went through two (!!!) G37 Sedans just to get there. However, the heart wants what the heart wants, and if you've the means to make your heart happy, then yes, go for it.

Questions for those with tuned G37. How much was the cost and what exactly did it include?

I called a local company to set up an appointment for a tune and was surprised at the $550 (no cable) for just ONE map and any other map would be charged extra. I tried to confirm if that includes the valet mode but he just confused me even more and restated that any other map is extra charge.

Between the confusion, lack of knowledge, and lack of interest from the guy at the shop (as he was talking to another person while in the phone with me), I will be looking for a different shop to tune.

It doesn't look like it will happen. I talked to a salesman earlier today about what it would cost to switch my mods over and he said I would just have to pay whatever the labor costs are, then he quoted me the costs... 1.5 hours for each car to swap exhausts, 1 hour each to swap over wheels, and 1.5 hours to swap over intakes, which is 8 hours of total labor at $135 an hour, which equals out to $1,080. He said that we could factor it into the sale price, but my goal was to keep my monthly payments at or below what I'm paying now, and that will push it over my estimated payment. I think I am going to hold off for now, and wait for a MW with black interior to come around since that's what I've been wanting for a while anyway...

Whatever works for you best Kirk! MW with black interior was what I wanted originally but I don't regret my choice on graphite shadow at all! I get so many people asking me if that is the OEM color because it looks sick haha

Those numbers seem high. They want 2 hours labor to swap wheels?

Heck, I could swap them in half an hour with a floor jack, and I'm old. Well, maybe two floor jacks.

Just as well. $26K for a 2011 6MT is $2k to $4k too high, assuming normal mileage. But that's par for the course at dealerships.

Its a little high. For perspective the buyout on my lease in July-15 is $24.x with 36,000 miles.

Yeah it was a little high. I was going to offer them 24.5 for it since there's another one about an hour and a half north for sale, 6mt, silver and about the same miles (36k), and they wanted the same amount as the one in TN but the only difference was the one in OH had a minor accident. Which automatically knocked it off the list.

What do you guys think about MXP Exhaust for the sedans? The reason I'm asking is because I've been wanting something louder like FI CBE with 18" or 12" resonators or non resonated at all but there is a sale going on for MXP full CBE for sedans up until labor day at 1150 while retail is 1450, I can't find many videos online especially of sedans that would do it justice but thought I'd ask... it certainly does seem to have more deep tone and growl I guess more like FI exhaust but I'm skeptical as always.. thoughts?

FI seems to be he safe bet around here because a lot of people have it, and its a good system, but if you want to try to stand out then get something not many people have. I'd say go for it and if you don't like it post it in the classified section and get most if not all of your money back, especially since its $300 off.

Alfredo and Albert sure like their ARK exhaust. You remember Albert's exhaust from the April meet-up. That's the cat-back I'm getting next Spring.

If you really want to stand out in the Sedan forum, ditch those Berks and get a set of long-tube headers.
