So I've been having a squeaking noise coming from the right rear of my car ever since I had my exhaust installed. So I decided to crawl under the car to try to see if maybe a bolt was loose. My thought was that it was the slip fit on the mid pip and tail pipe. I checked it and it was pretty tight, I actually couldn't get it any tighter, so I started checking the rest of the rear section of the exhaust... I remember that my mechanics helper had installed the hanger at the very end of the tail pipe on backwards. So I wanted to make sure that the nuts were tightened. I ended up breaking a stud for that hanger. It took absolutely no effort at all when it broke, so I assume that it was broken when my mechanic put it back on the second time.
Anyone know how difficult it is to replace a stud specifically the one pictured.

After a few years, those SS pins/bolts on the FSTB brackets will start to rust. Consider titanium.
The red fender washers, VMS rad cap cover and oil cap all work well together. It even works with the red in the STILLEN logo on the intake mid-pipes.
Normally I would say ditch those big decals, but in this case, they're a keeper because of the color scheme. (Actually, I would still ditch them, but your car.)I recommend turning the STILLEN couplers upside-down, to hide the logo. Too much logo going on.
Also, you can remove those two OEM intake brackets on the fenders. And paint the bracket holding the little beeper on the driver's side. (I forget what that thing is.)
Get some black plastic spray paint, or plastidip if you prefer, and spray that yellow dipstick loop. Easy peasy.
Lastly, there's one worm-gear coupler bracket bolt on the driver's side mid pipe that is oriented backwards. Just saying.

yes Eibach is my only suspension mods at this time and no spacers 235/50 Front and 255/45Rear......my next top priority is FI RHFC and some new shoes....but thats another ordeal all in itself when that time comes. I replaced my tires (Michelin PS A/S 3) less than 2k miles ago so I'll be running my duck feet for awhile

yes Eibach is my only suspension mods at this time and no spacers......my next top priority is FI RHFC and some new shoes....but thats another ordeal all in itself when that time comes. I replaced my tires (Michelin PS A/S 3) less than 2k miles ago so I'll be running my duck feet for awhile

and in a few months i'll be getting koni yellow struts to complete the suspension setup as well as swaybars sometime in the near future. 
and BTW looks good man... I'm so glad I got IPLs now and no longer have to look at the damn ugly duckfeet, well except winter probably

thx guys and I updated my post with tire size...Im actually running a little wider than stock. 235/50 front and 255/45 rear. it all honesty I could use some spacers to get the true flush look. But as mentioned earlier I'm actually shopping around for rims and unsure if I want 19" or 20" and didnt want to waste $ on spacers.

Im thinking about going +0 with tires, 235/45, and 255/40. A little more deviation in tire height from the sedan at .30", but not far from the coupes .25" F/R height difference. I want to see how it looks before I go wider or add spacers.

Look what showed up in today's mail.
First impressions:
Can't wait to get it on the car.

- Perfect size, perfect fit in my hand.
- Surprisingly heavy, what with being titanium and all. But it is a solid piece of metal, so I suppose it should be noticeably heavier. Either way, I'm crazy curious about the added heft when driving & shifting.
- It doesn't scratch on this Ti ring that I wear on my right hand, which was an idea that was bugging me.
- And it's probably 1/4" to 1/2" lower than the OEM ****.
- Plus, it beautifully matches the brushed aluminum(ish) trim on the dashboard.
Can't wait to get it on the car.

So it's all just a wait and see for a while. Appreciating how the thing looks just sitting on my desk. And let's face it, sometimes appreciating a mod is just as much fun as installing and using it.
