Its really not that loud if you keep your foot out of it. I've mastered driving around my apartment complex as quietly as possible.
I'll say this, if I'm not laying into it I can hear my sway bar squeaking... I'll have to get that fixed asap.

Part Number
Guys, I need a new lower engine cover / splash shield. Not even sure what to call it, but mine got ripped up last month when the car was towed after my clutch slaver cylinder blew, and I only recently discovered the damage. Not really interested in a fancy Z1 Motorsports replacement, even though that black powdercoated V2 shield is pretty nice. I just want to replace the big plastic thing as cheaply as possible.
Problem is, I can't figure out the proper part number. And there appear to be cheaper aftermarket replacements, but I can't seem to figure that out either. It's weird. Can anyone help me out here?

And yeah, that black powder coated Z1 cover is nice. But it's just a lower panel, so kind of hard for me to justify it at the moment.
Those $70 eBay panels... Meh. eBay.

After all my fuss and research into the ramp "problem" since first deciding to drop the car, turns out not to be a problem at all. Well, for the front end, at least. In the back, there's still no way for the 10" tires to fit on these plastic ramps.
But in the front... I have a 1"x12", six foot panel that perfectly spans the width of the front of the car. If all I do is drive up that first, it seems I can easily get up the ramp the rest of the way, without rubbing anywhere. On the up-side, the car will always be evenly parked on the board, because you tuck to board to the tires, and the ramps will always be perfectly aligned with the wheels because you tuck the ramps flush with the board. Geeeeeezus... I should have been doing this years ago. Feel like an idiot.
Cool beans. So much stupid fuss about something so stupid. LOL
