I went with StopTech pads this time around, the last set I had OEM pads on. I haven't noticed any additional noise no.

Since my pads still have under 20K on them, and keep checking out OK, I don't pay a lot of attention to pad options at this point. However, I do have a reference in my notes to research RB Performance ET500 pads for when the time comes. FWIW

Interesting, thanks for the link. Project Mu is on my list to research as well as stoptech. Doubtful I'll go with NISMO again unless I get them for a killer deal.

Except the OEM pads kinda suck, unless your primary concern is low dust and you don't drive overly aggressive.

I have the NISMO pads with my Akebonos, so far no complaints. Not bad on dust (although it's grayish in color) they are quiet, and it could just be the new BBK but they have some serious stopping power. Maybe I'll switch up when these things are toast. It should be a while though.

My GTHaus Meisterschaft exhaust should ship out today, and I hope to have it installed next week!

Hope your neighbors either dislike you already or have bad ears

We'll just call it pay back for some of the door dings I've gotten from living here. I'm going to enjoy coming home at 3am when I get off work.

LatheWerks tells me he can make the flare collar at the base of the shifter **** in matching brushed Titanium... for an additional price, natch.

Oh-h-h-h. I'm really wanting this now. A solid brushed-Titanium, tear-drop shaped shift **** with a brushed titanium collar. This could be real nice.

Something like this Subaru (but with a collar, and in brushed Ti instead of SS, and against stone leather instead of black.)

Always an additional cost

Might as well spring for the STS since you're going to all the trouble of removing the ****
