Sounds good, let me know. I'll be bouncing around a a bit, TX, CA, Vegas and China but I should be back home steady by August. I hope.

But it's bad enough to justify a sport bumper.
I'm trying to avoid it, trying trying to avoid it. I mean, I want to do it. But I'm still so tempted to try to run with the BB kit.

Um ... you guys actually change the crush washers?

Got my G back today after paintless dent repair on the hail damage. They did a fantastic job, even under my clear bra. I absolutely can't find any evidence, even on the aluminum hood.

Why not change them? I would imagine if you don't that you'll be fine, but considering how cheap they are, I don't see any reason not to

$10 in oil plug crush washers will last me for a couple years.

I met up this evening with a local forum member and his 2008 Coupe. Beautiful car, gorgeous matte-gray wheels. He has a NISMO Shift **** for sale, which is something I've been wanting now for a long time.

Turns out it's the chrome model, not the Titanium one (which is stupidly expensive new), so I didn't want it just on that alone. But that wasn't the whole reason. It's a lot smaller in person than I was expecting, both in length and diameter (LOL, I know, I know...) He put it back on his car so I could experience it first hand. As a pistol-grip, it felt OK, but not tall enough for your index finger to join the party. And as a ball-grip, it just doesn't palm into your hand right.

It was a a great opportunity. And now the NISMO Titanium Shift **** is off the list. Actually kind of sad about that.

I'm still undecided on a shift ****, but I'm increasingly leaning towards a STS and a WC lathe werks ****. It's such a point of interaction in a MT that I think it would be a worthwhile upgrade.

Yes, absolutely on the STS. For no particular reason other than anecdotal reading, I'm thinking TWM over Stillen.

Never heard of WC Lathe Werks, so I looked it up just now. This Titanium Teardrop **** in a brushed finish... YES! This is gorgeous. No grooves, no engraving, just beautiful titanium. Nice find, Lego!

I'm going to have to write to them, because I don't see this Ti **** available for NISSAN on their website.

John, have you thought about designing your own shifter and having a shop CNC it for you? You could probably take the Nismo design and improve on it to give you a better feel in you palm.

I should have bought a 6mt instead of the 7AT. They just didn't have them on the lot CPO when I was shopping. Ah, hell. Next go around I guess. That's a nice looking shift ****.

Welcome to WC Lathe Werks -- I Build Truly Unique Shift *****. Proudly Hand-Crafted in The USA! - WC Lathe Werks | Truly Unique Shift *****, Proudly Hand-Crafted in The USA!

I had one of his ***** on my Legacy GT and one on my trans am. He does top notch custom work--metal threads, adjustable set screw, etc. I'll probably get another equator ****.

This will probably sound stupid, but, wont titanium get hot as hell?

In upstate NY he'd be more likely to freeze to it!

Though in all seriousness I would think about that. Definitely too hot for me here in Memphis.

Chris at LatheWerks wrote me back, really promptly, too.

Their tear-drop, solid Titanium **** is a custom job that they don't inventory. So as a custom job, it's $145+. Seems fair enough to me, in comparison to the NISMO.

I'm really, really interested.
