Here's a potentially silly question: has anyone ever considered replacing their seat belts with a different color? For example, with my Moonlight White Sedan and Stone Leather interior, wouldn't a white seat belt be kind of interesting? (Or completely hideous... LOL) Similarly, a red seat belt in a black leather interior could look pretty hot.

Anyway, they make them, you know.

I've considered replacing the seatbelt, but with a harness, not just a different color three point.

However, I've heard that putting a harness in your car without a roll cage is more or less a death sentence in a rollover, since a harness won't allow you to roll forwards. If the roof comes in, you don't want to try and hold it up with your neck. Nope, nah, no thanks.

A white seat belt could be interesting. There is also an equal chance it could look like something a pimp would do

Got a link to a source?

Red seatbelt in my 6mt with black interior could certainly look good, just like in that CLA45 AMG I sat in the other day, it looked awesome!

where and who makes them and how can we get em?

The FWD open differential architecture alone is a fail. Not to mention the ~150 HP deficit. The Q at least offers optional summer tires, which says a lot about it's mission.

I get it. The G crowd doesn't like the Q. I don't either, because they killed the 6MT. But to compare a FWD 6 to a Q is just silly. I don't know how you define "fun" but in any measurable metric, from straight line acceleration to handling to braking, a Q50S is absolutely going to murder a 4 cylinder 6.

Nobody is taking a Mazda 6 to the track to whoop a$$
Shrugs. Its all relative. Q50S then again is $20k MORE than a mazda6, and all you're really getting is 150hp. Not much more than that. All other aspects are close, and agreed q50 outperforms the 6. ...but its still 20k more.

Anyone could take a used EVO dump 20k into it and spank Ferraris all day. Its all what you want I suppose. I agree with you that Infiniti lost their touch but its not because of not including the 6mt. Their "S" isn't that great to begin with. I doubt putting in our tranny (imo the g's biggest weakness) would make a difference.

Took my car for lunch today with the wifey, and was looking at the seat belts with this in mind. With a Stone Leather interior... ah, no. But with a black interior, it certainly has possibilities.

Mike, just google "custom seatbelts". There are companies out there.

They said they do... But.... Who knows?

I haven't researched too heavily in case I find everything I need. And have no ability to slow down.

I was scrolling from the bottom up & thought that black bison bumper was going to be the front end of an aventador, unnecessarily aggressive IMO, but still gets points for uniqueness

Is that a remote start module? Or could it be a VDC accelerometer delete kit? Mr. Coffee brain?
