I had my trunk repainted because some of the molding cured more after a few weeks and turned yellow through the paint.

The shop forgot to put my mt fuji back on - should I keep it naked?

Personally, I like the Infiniti logo. I'd say put the logo back on without the G37 or Infiniti lettering. Your call, buddy

Based on what? All brake fluid absorbs water, thats why a higher wet boiling point, in this case 421 vs 365 is important

I also like the Fuji.

Since your trunk has such a large presence now, how about a larger Fuji than the one that goes on the G?

^ Yeah I think I like the logo as well, too much white space. I think the larger Fuji is a good idea too. Any idea the part number?

$35? This coming from the guy who bought a full rack of Carbon Signal body parts.

So I'm pretty mad at myself right now....tapped someones bumper pulling out of a parking lot yesterday It's been almost 20 years since my last accident

Making a right turn, I thought they were going to go, because they had a huge gap, they hesitated and didn't go, I was a little too quick to jump thinking I could get out too. My passenger side corner hit their drivers side corner. No damage that we could see to their 525i.

Went and got a quote over lunch. $650 + they will probably need to replace the headlight since it is scratched and a tab is broken on it, to the tune of $1100. I have a $500 deductible, so no sense paying out of pocket.

On the plus side, I scheduled the appointment for a week I'll be traveling. Drop the car off before I go, pick it up the next day. Still, logistics will suck since wifey will have to taxi me to the airport and I'll have to have my parents pick me up since nobody can drive a manual to get my car before I get back.

Point taken, but they want $10 to ship the emblem! The emblems are so abundant that one would think it would be cheaper.

Just sayin $45 for this plastic emblem seemed a bit pricey, then add the $7 for the rattle can to make it black..

I feel that, Lego. I suspect we all do.

Just now picked up my car from the dealership after they replaced my clutch slave cylinder. I swear the clutch pedal feels much softer than it did before. I wonder if the failing CSC was creeping up on me in ways that I didn't recognize over time.

Look forward to seeing how it'll look with the larger fuji. Are you going to center it on the trunk as opposed to placing it in the original location?

I keep struggling with what to do with mine. Some days i want a fuji, other days i like it naked. Other days id like to put something ohnoxious and different on there...

I'm still waiting on some equilibrium with the car, before I do anything new with it again.

It's almost June, and I'm still not quite there. I mean, I barely drove it in the Winter that Never Ended, and when I did, it was on snow tires in the freezing snow. The cats were new in mid-March, and the wheels went on in April. But I had frustrating issues with a TPMS, and wasn't at all happy with the fitment. So I ordered springs, which became a total clusterfck retail experience.

At this point, I did have some fun with the Meet-up in PA. No denying that.

After installing the springs, one of my tie-rods was failing, which made me cancel getting the car aligned, except that this repair schedule went on forever. Finally repaired, but still not aligned, the clutch slave cylinder blew out. That went in for repair, and I went on vacation. I'm back, but the front end still hasn't been aligned. The place I want to go to is on a schedule, and so is my life, so that won't happen for few days still.

/rant. Serenity Now.

It's a beautiful spring day, no denying that, too. Think I'll wash it.
