Friends, I'm a little lost and would like some guidance.

I currently have the TopSpeed Pro1 exhaust on my sedan, but I hate how the tips stick out farther than the bumper.

Nothing else about the exhaust bothers me. It sounds great, and is loud enough/quiet enough for my liking. I just wanna do something about the freakin' tips that won't alter the sound (would changing just the tips do that?).

Any suggestions?

Altering the tips will not impact the sound IMO, I'd take it to a shop, have them cut off the current ones and weld on some new ones that you like better

Thread on changing out the top speed tips:

I pulled the trigger on an Invidia Q300 cat back today. So....what are the chances it makes it the 8 or so hours from Tampa to Charlotte for me to install this weekend?

Not saying these tips are your solution in particular... heck, they aren't really my final solution, either. But the hacksaw is your friend here. And a mechanic with welding skills.

Anyone have experience with THMotorsports on getting springs?
I bought wheels from them a few years ago for my subaru and they were great then. Not sure if their customer service has changed or not. Since Need4Speed has been giving you trouble, I may serious consider THMotosports.

Also, Rochester, do you know the diameter of the exhaust that leads in/out of the muffler?
There are some tips I was looking but the ID (inner diameter) was 1.75" and I wasnt sure if that too small or not.

Nope. Sorry. I suspect 2.25", but it might also be 2.5". So what you do is hack off the tips to about a 1/2" from the cans, then weld the new tips directly to the can itself, right over the nub of the old tips. That's what my mechanic did with my 3.5" tips.

Otherwise, you'll have to hacksaw as close to the can as possible, then grind the remaining bits off.

THMotorsports does a nice job, had some camber/toe parts that were shipped
ASAP and the price was very good FWIW.

My plan was to actually buy someones spare mufflers and just hack off the muffler and get it straight piped. No one seems to be selling their mufflers though.

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the AWD sedan springs? I want to verify the number before I order.
I have: SWF.4N907

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I appreciate it. I actually don't mind the 4.5" diameter on the tips, I just wish it didn't stick out so far. Maybe I could just have a piece of the pipe between the can and tip cut out, and re-welded to decrease the length.

Not sure why they changed the tips, maybe a different vendor? Mine don't stick out

I'll check and see if mine are still floating around at the shop. If they are I'll PM you.

Looking to get forgestar cf10's mounted on michelin pilot super sports with swift springs installed this weekend.

Also this close to pulling the trigger on the ark exhaust.

Great choice man! I have the same exhaust on my 6mt paired up with Berk HFCs and it sounds amazing ! Loud enough but can also be pretty subtle when driving gently and isn't obnoxious at all, but I have no clue at this point what it sounds like without Berk HFCs , IMO probably quite a bit quieter.
