I kind of like it, although I've never really been a fan of exposed carbon fiber body panels.

I for one would love to see the 5.6 out of the M56 shoved into the engine bay.

The fog lights are LED, actually the only Halogen bulbs on the car are the turn signals and rear dome lights, everything else is LED.

The CF is nice, but it doesn't look as SEXY as the Sport front end to me. They should of just added more to the current Sport front end, more lip more flare. The vents in the back seem promising, if they are functional, I would say motor is FI stock.

I think the opposite of about the front end - this one is cleaner and flows with the body's lines better IMO. As far as the lights, I don't think that any car in this segment should still have any halogen bulbs outside the car. Or even inside for that matter. All LEDs is the way to go for a number of reasons. I'd like to see more of the hood vents. You can't tell much form the one teaser photo, but they seem small and understated. Not muscle car/boy racer. Even if they are not associated with any sort of FI, they are still functional at the rear of the hood to exhaust warm engine bay air. Looking at the CF that's been added on the front lower lip and side mirrors, I have to guess that there will be more of it on the rear lower valance and possibly spoiler. Perhaps even the side sills too like on the new CLA45 AMG exterior CF trim package.

This is a much improved front end design. Much more clean than what is on the showroom floor today. Makes me wonder what the back-end looks like.

If this isn't available someday from INFINITI, then someone in the aftermarket world ought to copy it.

I agree. I had a Q50 as a loaner the other day and I noticed that the interior map lights were LEDs but the rear of the interior is still the filament bulb like we have in our Gs. I dont quite get that...

The new S-class is the first car to have 100% LEDs inside and out. Pretty cool designs too.

The hood looks identical to the GT-R

Those scoops feed air to a set of snails

I like it but if they price it like they did with the SV FX50 then good luck. For me the only reason this should exist is if they make it as a rival to the M, AMG, RS, V and F's. It would also HAVE to come with a new engine as the 3.7 is on its last leg.

Make it interesting and put the 5.0 liter from the FX in there and make me want it. If not they can save their 18hp and 6lb/ft increase and I'll keep my money.

I like the cleaner and simpler front end and carbon fiber accents. The partial blue lighting makes me wonder if it'll have a hybrid powertrain...

May be its because its in the shadows but I will reserve my final judgment until I see it.

Here... out of the shadows a little bit, so we can see the new CF front end elements better.

Really don't like the CF mirrors, but whatever.

Also, that purple in the headlight lens is an artifact of whomever did the photo editing... notice how it's all over the left side.

The violet color is effect lighting coming in from the left side, I'm not versed enough in photography to tell if it's from an actual lighting source or photo editing. But it's very intentional as that is now Infiniti's signature color and is prevalent in a lot of their marketing.

And thanks for ruining the mystique of the teaser photo. They probably paid a marketing firm an obscene amount of money come up with the concept to make the photo fade into mysterious darkenss on the left side and here you come like a bull in a china shop and screw it all up. I bet you're the guy who hangs around the mall and tells kids having their picture taken that Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny aren't real. There's a very pissed off automotive photographer somewhere plotting your untimely death.

Incorrect... the turn signals are LED as well as the fog lights here is a short glimpse video of that

The next person to post the words "fog lights" anywhere on this forum gets banned. Permanently.

Just kidding.

Probably.
