Thanks iC, it's carbon vinyl wrapped, but still has some wax trailings at the edges DOH!
I really need to do a full detail soon, lol.

I did a full detail/polish this weekend so shiny and smooth.

Anyways,
Did you use knifeless tape? And 3M vinyl?

I actually tried to wrap it but i used some junk VIVID vinyl, which is nearly impossible to get bubbles or wrinkles out so i trashed it and ordered some 3M. Comes tomorrow..

It is 3m 1080, and I used clear saran wrap placed snug to the valance area and traced out 1/2 the area w/ a sharpie, I then placed it on the back side of the vinyl and took my time to exact the trace. Once I got half done I matched it up to the bumper just to check my lines and tweak if needed. Luckily I got it right the first time, I then just folded the vinyl over to copy the other side, pretty simple. Be sure to drop your exhaust hangers above the exhaust tips and in front of the muffler so you can drop the cans enough to get a good wrap inside the exhaust recessed area.

Here's a link to the tips, they're a clamp on since I wanted black. I may have a friend tack weld them in back to remove the bolts, we'll see. Don't really notice them much. And I like the look much better than the bright stainless silver tips
The new Y pipe did add a bit off hiss/rasp at 2800 to 3000 rpm but only under hard acceleration. If it stays as is I'm ok with it, if it get worse I may
look into modifying that 3" to 2.5" transition that we talked about.

Those tips... very unique. The finish is an aggressive, subtle look that totally works with your car and all the black trim. Great choice, Brad.

How very Porsche of you.

My wife walked behind the car and just smiled and said "very nice" so chalk it up as a win

Thanks for the kind words

I just popped over from the coupe forum because I'm bored at work and was looking for some new threads to lurk through. Just wanted to say that Newt's help and influence has not gone unnoticed on the 2-door side as well. I know I have personally benefited from his advice (among many others who are staples here on the forum) and it's really refreshing to see someone who is consistently helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what to expect from this forum when I got my G because my buddy had a 350z and that community is absolutely toxic. I've had a great time here and learned a lot. So... go us?

Just got some boxes from Japan today, huge shout out to Jason@GetYourWheels, he did a great job w/ the order and I've never had anything arrive in such immaculate condition

Wheels are Wedsport 18x9.5 +38 and weigh 20.4 lbs per wheel, these have plenty of room for Akebonos and even more for my Wilwoods
Should have them mounted before the weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous B....

The machined faces add a really nice touch on your blacked out G.

Post up a total weight with tires if you can.

18s FTW....
