Issues with 2010-12 front end Conversion
I have a 2009 g37x sedan and I was in the front end collision. I decided to do the front and conversion consider oh cost about the same amount of money. The front and conversion is complete but I am having issues with the driver side head light. The hid turns on and then turns off. I have to turn the headlights on and off a couple times to make it stay on. Also the blinker light turns on when I first start the car but after a couple min it turns off and I can't use the directional at all.

did you check all connections ? something could have been damaged in the accident, is it the right bulb ? I once installed 55W hid bulb and as soon as i would turn it on it would be on for about 5-10 seconds and flicker off.

I also needed my brakes replaced since the first set of replacement brakes that replaced the factory OEM brakes at 85k miles were still on the car with about 3mm left.
I also had a leaking differential seal.
With 171796 miles on my car it was a no brainer.
I traded it in for a new 2012 G37S on August 31st 2012 and I'm very happy that I did.

I had that headlight issue on my 06 G35. The dealer service told me it was a defective ballast. The ballast alone was about $600 plus labor.

If you get low quality replacement bulbs this somtimes happens. I tried to go cheap and bought used bulbs off someone here in the forums. Not his fault, I read about the problem before I got them from him and I just had a bad luck of the draw. I then purchased good quality bulbs from Diode Dynamics and never looked back.
