It's pretty simple, just be careful not to strip the screws holding down the lens. They are extremely tight. The spacer kit that you can order from the retrofit source sucks, I don't recommend it. However, the provided card board spacers worked great. I used 4 for each side.

I made my own spacers from cardboard since mine only came w/ the metal ring spacers and agree, they don't seem like they'd secure the lens very well, cardboard seemed much more secure IMO.

Great write up! I am definitely going to switch out my iron man leds with the SMD's. I would love to know what happened with the STI clear lens

STI lenses is very straight forward too. I'd say its one of the best/cheapest mods you can do to the G. The improvement in clarity is unbelievable. Although after driving the G with the clear lens mod it makes every other car you drive with HID's or LED's look terrible.

That's some nice work partner.

Turn Signal Shroud Size

Do you by any chance know what the sizes are for the turn signal and projector shrouds. I want to order angel eyes for my G37 Sedan.

Wow this DIY is great! How did I not see this sooner. Even though I've decided to not add any DRLs to my lights at this time, I am definitely using your pictures to aid in disassembly of my headlights this weekend!

Thanks alot 11SAPG37

Hey,

Thanks for the DIY! What relay did you use for the wiring setup? Thanks!
