hit and run
The title makes it sounds worst than it is but none the less a hit and run, someone backed into the front driver side wheel and scuffed the front bumper a bit. Like i said it could have been way worse if it was a direct bumper or door hit. I tried clay bar and helped a bit but was wondering what it would cost to get fixed? Its almost not worth getting fixed because its so minor but we all love our cars here so you get where im coming from.
thanks,

Pictures would be helpful...
A few months ago, a taxi cab hit my prelude..."his fault".
I decided to remove the damage myself, given it wasn't that bad to begin with, but his insurance gave me a bit of money anyways for my trouble..
I used the trix remover to remove the black tire marks on my bumper. I was actually surprised it took all of it out. Recommend using this if the damage done to your car is like mine

I had a similar situation with my rear bumper cover not long ago - no additional damage was found underneath, so it was just cosmetic. I took it to a good body shop and they filled, wet sanded, and painted the existing cover and you would never know there was any contact at this point. It looks new; the paint match is the trickiest part. The cost was something like $1000 which was mostly labor and paint - I think they replaced a couple of clips just to be safe but those are cheap.
If you decide to replace the entire cover, then yeah, you're looking at a more serious cash outlay.
I, too, thought about just letting it go, but in the end I couldn't stand looking at the imperfection not matter how minor it was
