New here; looking for sport side skirts

Hi all, just got a '11 G37X Sedan. Looked on ebay, infiniti e-store and the private classifieds here, but can't seem to find any of the "Sport" side sills/skirts available. Any suggestions on where else to look?

Dealer is where I got mine from. Keep in mind Sedan are different from coupe. A few coupe members have added IPL side sills and therefore you would be able to find a used Sport set for the coupe. The sedan is a different story since there is no IPL version for the sedan. These are factory painted so the possibility of finding a used set in your color is pretty slim.

I'm curious as to what my cost is for the side skirts are. (I Work for an autogroup that owns a Inifniti dealer)

Here are the part numbers 76850-JK33A which is the Right side and 76851-JK33A which is the Left side. Remember these are specific to my color which is K51 Platinum Graphite. Bought some coupe,sport side,skirts from a forum member recently after he upgraded to IPL's. i paid $225 total with shipping. Very easy install. Post on forum as I am sure many forum members may have them.

@jaydeepee; thanks for the link; looks like they only have gray and blue. Very odd that they don't have white and/or black, seems like those would be pretty popular colors......

Guess I'll start a WTB thread for these.

No they have them. It's because I put in a specific part number. Search for Left and Right Sedan w/ sport trim in your color. There are several pages. http://discountinfinitiparts.com/par...w=51&maxRow=10

i never thought about changing my side skirts, is there a drastic difference between the journey and sport? anyone have any good side by side comparison pics?

Sorry no pics but I don't think the difference is huge, say like the IPL. But, since the bumper flares out a bit (under the fogs), it kind of creates the snow-plow look w/o skirts that flare out (even if it's just a bit).

New sport sills/skirts are on order, thanks again Jaydeepee.

Been reading some threads about actual install. As for the removal, is it as "simple" as removing the (3) screws on each side (1 front, 2 back) and then yanking said sill out towards you? Or are there any clips that need to be removed first?

Did you order from them? How long did it take to get them? I put my order in Wednesday around 2 PM (EST); order status has been "Processing" since then......

Got my pair locally. They had to special order them. Install is really easy. Just make sure all doors are fully opened.

Same story for me; had to special order the right side.

Aside from the (6) end screws, what else needs to be removed before I can start yanking on the sills?

There is a rubber wind deflector attached to the rocker panel and side sill. Make sure to remove the nuts before yanking the side sill off. The plastic clips hold most of the sill in place. Very easy install. It will snap into place and the rest is secured with the hardware removed from the original sills.
