That's a pretty good buy, that's about like a loaded Camry.

I have not tested one yet just saw it on the road. On appearance alone it was good a step up from the current design.

Based on your review if that were my review I would pass on the Q. Subdued handling, quiet smooth engine, and over technology. Not stuff I am looking for when I got my G. If I were in a Lexus or MB maybe, but I consider the G close to BMW and both of those cars I ignore the technology and get into it for the drive, torque, HP, and handling.
I may test one later in the year to feel it out but so far sounds like luxury over sport.

Saw the new Q up close and personal yesterday when I took my '13 G into the dealer for an oil change. Classy package to be sure, more elegant and refined looking, but to me it lacks the sort of purposeful, buttoned-down, quietly aggressive aspect of the G, which I, for one, happen to prefer.

Didn't we hear something about a FI 500HP motor? Anyone have more about that "rumor"?

Meh. Good car, but no "wow", and nothing new, just a better quality interior.

Actually only about .2 seconds slower and quicker from a higher rpm launch.

I had many opinions about the Q50S AWD that I drove yesterday, but "slow" was not one of them. Not at all.

fit and finish is what really went upscale on the new Q50. It is a lot of technology but marketing is what is hurting the Q50 right now.

So it's not going to start creaking and rattling like an old Honda Civic in a couple years like my 2010?

Funny you mentioned that the one I test drove had rattle coming from the dashboard driver side, headliner just behind the sunroof and of course the damn glove box which has been a standard feature on all the Infiniti's I owned. Trust me I didn't request for it they just threw it in for free. I only test drove the prem pack not the sport so IDK how the sport performs. Only thing I could say was it didn't give me the WOW feeling. I test drove the Lexus IS250/350 sport and it was so different from the Q. I have to test drive the sport and see if it will change my opinion. My G37 lease is up in December but I can get rid of it earlier like 3 months before. I will be in the market for sure when that time comes.
