Front end Smoke when Headlights are on in the Rain

I've searched this forum for a while, but it looks like most of the threads related to the Headlights are ether condensation or ballast issues. Mine is little different.

I recently noticed smoke coming from the front of my car while sitting in the traffic. I pulled to the side and pop the hood, couldn't see exact spot where it was coming from. It is looks to me like front grill, driver side headlight area or something underneath.

I now recall that when I drove with headlights on in dry weather I never got any smoke, or when I drive in the rain with lights off I don't get any smoke ether. So it has to be something getting really hot while headlights are on and water vaporize after contact with it.

All lights work properly, no faults, the car is stock with factory HID, '09 G37x.

I would appreciate any ideas.

It's steam from water hitting something hot. It's happened on every car I've owned and is normal.

Mine does it too. Water is hitting the radiator.

Completely normal unless you see that you're leaking something.

This is normal. However, of all the cars I've owned, the G is the most apparent. The first time I saw this on the G, I freaked out too and thought I was overheating.

Its not smoke...its steam. It comes from rain hitting the radiator or engine parts. Don't worry...its normal.

Yeah when I first got my G and drove in the rain looked like a dragon. Called dealer and they said it was absolutely normal.
