Goodbye G37, Got a Good Replacement

I have not really posted much on the forums but did use the classifieds on a regular basis and picked up some items through them including Stillen Gen1 Short Ram Intakes, Tanabe Touring Exhaust and a couple other items. The site was great for information about the spoiler I settled on and some just general how-to stuff. So thank you for that!

Below is a picture of my new car...

2009 C63 that has only 7200 miles on it with every option. This thing is a beast and with some tuning gets even better. I feel like a sellout given I drove a C300 or C350 (whichever) when I bought my 10' G37 back in 2010 and hated everything about it and talked a lot of crap about it also.... Couldn't afford a 63 so didn't drive it but wow, what a car. Still weird to think of an upgrade as getting a slightly older car

If anyone has any interest, I have the Stillen Short Ram intakes with heat shields that use the K&N filters with a recharge kit available for sale. The new owner of my G37 didn't want them for whatever reason.

So what about this that you liked (other than the power) that you hated on the c300/c350? Aren't those just a modified/sports version of the c300/350 like how the M3 is to the 335?

Either way those cars are a beast. Nice pickup. They produce so much torque it must feel amazing.

When driving the base C-class it felt 'dead', more like the car was driving you rather than you driving the car. Just lacked a sense of aliveness with poor steering, suspension, peddle feedback, etc. The C63 truly shares none of this with it's meeker version. From my understanding, the only thing they share in common are the lights and some body panels. The seats are amazing with very deep bolsters, feedback is crisp and feels like a driver's car. It lacks the stuffiness that I feel the traditional ones have...

I cannot speak for the BMW's as it was my last choice when looking at cars, more plastic than my old Honda Prelude. But HUGE difference on the MB side of things.

I will say the user interface on the G is SOO much better then then MB.

Damn, that's an impressive car. 12 mpg of awesome that would almost make me not care about the lack of a clutch pedal.

Beastly car, OP. Very cool upgrade.
