All of those that think they can get an S4 or loaded up 335i for cheap haven't actually tried to lease one.. try reading the fine print, want an S4 for $600.00 a month? Plan on putting down a very sizeable cap cost reduction..but what do I know I only sold cars for 20 years...

2011 A6 was the last year of the older body style. At that time the car was heavely incentivized, very low money factor and $$ back from Audi to the dealers. Also was your total out of pocket $3K or was that just the cap cost reduction? Also is the $660.00 including tax?

I believe out of pocket was around $4k. The $660 is pretax. I realize it is a little more than than the Q50, but not by a long shot. And it's still an A6 that's pretty loaded. If I settled for the 3.2, it would be much less.

Wait, sniper... you gave away $4K for the privilege of renting one car for $660/month?

Cap reduction was 3k.+ 1st mth and license +registration fees. But was able to get 15k miles/yr instead of 12k, as well as scheduled maintenance.

OK so if you were in NJ.. that where I am the payment would be close to $700.00 with tax..you put down $4 thousand dollars.. Also the 3.2 was only a Front Track not a Quattro.. and no one buys a FWD Audi..

The A6 is no question (IMO) a nicer car than a G37 but my 2013 G37x sticker of $45,250 about $10 less than you A6 with Nothing Down ( First Months payment only) and the dealer making my last three payments with tax and 15K miles a year is $470.00

These are different cars in different classes...

Regardless of the hobby enthusiasm, an Automotive Lease is a service, not a possession. And as such, you never spend money out of pocket for a long term transaction based on monthly payments. Very specifically, you never do that with something that has zero equity right out of the box, guaranteed to remain at zero equity for as long as you're the steward of someone else's property.

Geeze Louise, people. LOL

did a quick calc.

2013 335i loaded up with 4yrs/50k free maintenance.

MSRP: 59250
Selling Price: 55385 (Invoice+$400. average deal)
$0 Down
15k/yr
36months
residual: 62%
MF: 0.00127
NY Tax: 8.875%

with the incentive $1000 drive event and $750 loyalty.
(There are more incentives but I'm not including them like USAA, Turn Key or College Grad, etc.)
Monthly: 640.98 tax rolled in.

if you don't qualify for the loyalty and too lazy for drive event.
Monthly: 691.41 tax rolled in.

Due at sign ~$2100 including bank fee, DMV/Doc fee, First month.

With similar monthly payment, which one would you take?
I know the Q50 lease deal will come down as the car goes on the market for some time. But right now that lease deal sucks big time.

I wouldn't buy a fully loaded 335 any more than a fully loaded g but that's me. I would buy a 335 in the mid to upper 40s max.

For comparison sake,

Here's the Audi S4 number.

2013 S4 with Nav, Sport diff, Adaptive Damper.

MSRP: 55445
Selling Price: 51901 (Invoice. average deal)
$0 Down
15k/yr
36months
residual: 53%
MF: 0.00068
NY Tax: 8.875%

with the incentive $1000 conquest rebate, we all qualify for it.
(Not sure if there are other incentives)
Monthly: 712.87 tax rolled in.

Due at sign ~$2100 including bank fee, DMV/Doc fee, First month.

Audi are almost always bad lease due to the low residuals.
Not quite $600ish but still close to the $680/month Q50.

I wouldn't either. many of those options are not needed like Driver Assistance Plus, Parking Assist, etc.
I added them so it's fully loaded.

Infiniti has no reason to incentivize, or offer subvented lease rates on a brand new car that's not even available yet..
