Do you think you save money by leasing? I am always under the impression it will be more expensive by month to lease, and at the end of it you have no car to show for payments. Only argument I can see is you save the trouble of depreciation.

Correct. From a strictly financial standpoint, not too many modern cars are going to start falling apart with costly repairs as soon as they're out of warranty (a few notable exceptions). Even if you're spending a couple K a year on repair, its still much cheaper than a $500-$600/month car note for the rest of your life. Once it becomes outdated or unreliable, you have saved enough money to comfortably afford a much nicer car next time around.

From a "get whatever you can buy, damn financial restraint" standpoint, getting a brand new car every couple of years is great if you have the money to blow. Always have a new ride. Always have warranty. Etc. unfortunately, I don't had that kind of money to burn. I probably wouldn't do it even if I were wealthy though. Just me.

$45,000 car get a good deal $42,000 sales tax and fees back to about $45,000.. put down $20,000 real dollars.. finance $25,000 for 60 months at 4% $460.00 a month for 60 months plus the $20,000 $47,600, five year old car is worth about $20,000

I leased my car put down nothing, didn't tie up $20,000 for 5 years.. payment is the same...I can buy the car for about $23K after 3 years, payments plus buy out $41500.. only real difference is I don't have to wait 5 years to own the car if I want to and I can do it 2 years earlier..

I currently drive a 09 37s. Clean, love the car and really no reason to trade away but I have had my eye on the coming Q50s. I half expected to be first in and drive one home ASAP. Now I think I'll sit on the sidelines another year or two. Not so much so bugs can be worked out but wait for manufacturer/dealer incentives and future options. They'll come sooner than later.

I would definitely keep it at least for 6 years. But easiest way to factor if it is worth trading in. See (what you bought it at - how much it's worth now trade in value )/ months owned. If the $ amount per mouth doesn’t bother you than go for it. Also if you get back more than you owe also a big plus lol go towards a down payment on the next ride .

I would keep the car. If you've maintained it properly it shouldn't give you any problems soon.
