Good thing that's all it was... But why wasn't the battery the first thing you thought of, if you noticed you werent getting any power at all ? I think this is a lesson learned, start with the simple stuff. Even the tow truck guy should have thought of this...

The customer service representative from 24-hour Infiniti Roadside Assistance told me that my car is completely locked for security purposes and that it will need to be towed. At that point, it didn't cross my mind that it was a battery issue. Even if the tow truck came to jump start the car, the battery would have failed on me sometime later. It's a good thing it was towed to the dealership to have the issue addressed and fixed.

But I completely agree with you by that this is a lesson learned and always start with the simple stuff first.
