Found my g37 like this =(
I went to the mall and found my g37 like this when I got back. Some idiot must have scratched it when parking. How would I fix this? Obviously when I run my nail on it, it get stuck so the damage is kinda deep. I can see silverish, so the paint must be off. I have touch up paint, but if I only apply that, its gnna look weird. Is there anyway to fix this by myself? Will sanding work?
Or should I go to an autobody shop to get them fix it? any estimates as to how much its gnna cost?

WOW! thats a bummer... one of the reasons i hate parking in a public place.
option 1: you can try to buff out the scratches, only if the blemishes did not cut through the clear coat (how can you tell? gently glide your nail across the scratch, if your nail catches an edge then you might be out of luck)
option 2: get front bumper repaired and repainted (costly option but atleast you know you will have a fresh new bumper. rough estimate ~$600)
any other options such as touch up paint and/or wet sanding wont look as good

i see many people cheap out and their paint starts to crack a year later. the main thing to ask the shop is the add a flex additive, which they should.
$600 may see expensive but get an estimate and youd be surprised

Go on youtube and search for Ammo detailing or car care, somewhere along those lines. This guy took a vandalized honda fit that was keyed down to bare metal and he shows you how to touch it up yourself. I'd post the video for you but I'm on my phone at work. I'll post it when I get home if no one else has.

Sand and repaint will cost more like $600....unless you have a friend in the business. To do it correctly, the bumper cover should be removed from the car before repainting. Touch up will be unsatisfactory.
