I met him a few times in college. One of my professors was friends with him and let us go to the annual shareholders meeting with him. Back then he drove a base model caddy dts with plates that said thrifty. He's also a hilarious dirty old man lol. He took us out to lunch to his favorite steak house. The meal was $8 and tasted horrible lol.

Cost in materials: $5.xx at Home Depot.

Time: 8 hours (2+ hours spent removing the bumper -- started removing it, then thought I would just go through the wheel well, ran into the washer resevoir, decided to remove bumper and on top of that I went slow. the remaining hours were 1st coat, wait 15m, 2nd coat, wait 30m, 3rd coat, wait 30m, 4th coat, wait 30m...)

Have a 7AT the best $2 mod ever!

Bing/Google the above title to find the thread on a 370z board.

Do not believe this mod is that great, but I guess it did shorten the throw on the paddle shifter. The passenger side for me was difficult to place well, but I was able to find a position where it would still provide the click.

In the 370z thread, someone mentioned they sanded the "spacer" down.

Cost: more than $2 -- the package was ~$3 before tax at Target

Time spent: 45 minutes (40 minutes driving to target and trying to find these things -- located in the area where they have those circles you place furniture on to make it easier to move)

Lots of people have removed the rings by just pinching and yanking them off. I didn't try that, but had no problem unclping the housing from the inside through the wheel well. I wonder why you had to drop the bumper? Hmm.

Didn't have to drop the whole bumper, decided to because I couldn't see past the windshield washer reservoir.

You can read codes with an additional in-app purchase, i think. I don't have it, so I'm not 100%.

Actually after compiling this list of apps on various plastforms, looks like Dash Command. I guess I'll leave this here for anyone looking for a phone app to work with their bluetooth/wifi obd2 device.

Clear, diamond-cut, Map Light Lenses from the NISSAN GT-R, under $30.

Thanks for the tip, RexHavoc!

That is a great mod, I don't like the feel of the plastic on the frosted lens.

Are there versions replace the little rear lenses as well or only the map lights?

Doing my own LED DRLs. <$15 May add a third eye on each side like the OEM non sport DRLs but will see how 2 on each side looks first.
