Grounds do deteriorate over time. For any relatively new car, it _shouldn't_ be a problem.

Multimeter is most straightforward way. Between battery negative and the various ground points, should be 0 ohm and 0 volts when the car is running.
To further this, take an oscilloscope to the ground and see if there are any ripples in the rev range. (If the battery, effectively a huge capacitor, is functioning well, there should be minimal.)

In the events that these aren't the case, --replace-- the OEM grounds with high quality wire.
Leaving poorly conducting wires in parallel with new good wires is a job half-done at best, and introduces ground loops at worst.

Agreed. Especially in the rust belt. Down here it's not much of an issue.

It does stay under the poor man's mod limit.

And it's for all four.

Maybe Dragion has the $6 link...

I do like that. But I can barely see the one I have. I guess it's like engine bay dress-up stuff. You know it's there, but only see it once-in-a-while.

It makes more of a difference than you think. I was the same way for a long time, even eventually deciding that it was stupid and not worth it.

I got it in my stocking, and I absolutely love it. It makes it feel special every time I start the car. I end up peeking at it through the spokes of the wheel when I go to press the button, rather than just blindly doing it as before. I just want to stare.

Oh, no. I agree with both you guys. Absolutely. You should see the stuff I have in the engine bay.

I'm, for whatever reason, trying to limit my all-out mod blitz....

(And you're not helping )
