Here's some pics when I was happy, then scroll down for a buzzkill
Guess I won't be installing my new brakes and swaybars this weekend
Gal flew over a curb into the G "safely" parked in a restaurant parking lot
At least the driver didn't hit the sign poll, so no serious injuries that were made aware of.
Check out the upper rear door frame

Thanks guys, metal can always be repaired so much better than somebody getting mangled out there. She literally missed the sign post (a foot in diameter) by a foot, and I was able to drive it home. The rear door wouldn't really open much and was a task to get it closed again, the front door opened but got caught up on the rear door a bit. The car tracked perfect on the way home so hopefully everything was above the uniframe or whatever it's called these days. No weird noises during the drive so hopefully
I just had the G all buffed, waxed, and that rear valance piece DIYed today. Was going to have it ready for a decent photo set this weekend, somebody other than my lousy photo self taking the shots this time too
Too much downer news these days to let this incident get me too bummed though.

Thread diversion - is that the Tanabe Medallion axle back? I have that on my '11. Stupid question but how do you keep it clean? Almost looks like you've brushed the surface maybe? I live in a very wet area so it may be wasted effort. Only a few months and I've got a lot of surface corrosion...

That blows. Sad to see a person like you, who loves their car so much, have something like this happen. It was looking sharp before the accident! At least you have a positive outlook. Glad nobody was hurt.
