Luckily when I was able to drive it home (and to the body shop) it tracked straight and true and seemed to drive exactly as it had pre-collision. My front bumper & oem chin spoiler were really dinged up, got a new bumper that I was waiting to install (from a previously careless driver) so now hopefully everything should be factory fresh and I'll take further precautions to keep it that way

Finally got it home, had to take it back to the body shop for some scratch/swirl/compound glazing removal, but after that I'm 100% satisfied w/ the repair. Color blends under all light angles perfect as far as I can tell. All body gaps are the same as the undamaged side. Doors, seals all fit as they did prior to the accident. No visual clues to the pillar & rocker repair and car drives stright & true, no difference from before the accident. They also kept the coveted 4DSC window sticker intact Installed new DRLs in my new bumper, I've gotten so I can now do a complete bumper removal in 15 minutes

Disregard the drivers mirror cover, it's out being carbon hydro-dipped (along w/ my OEM front chin spoiler).

Thanks Dragion, just a few things left, like I mentioned the mirror covers and front lip will be carbon hydro-dipped, should be ready mid-week. Then a 1600
mile road trip to Vegas, and then install my new rotors, stoptech pads and Rochesters' S sways. That should be a wrap
Hope things are going better for you too my friend

The carbon hydro-dipped should compliment your G perfectly
After installing John's S sway and the upgraded brakes...should be $$$!
Should be a nice drive up to Vegas...1600 miles is a way to go.

Thanks Brad...things are still tight, but keeping my head above water.

I don't think the accident took out the headlights, so without insurance paying for the lenses, that would have been a costly upgrade.

I forgot how unique your DRL modification was. Very nice. You had a replacement bumper purchased just before the accident, didn't you? Is that why you had to redo the DRL's?

I had that new bumper ready to go, then the accident happened. One of the DRLs got a good rock impact and it fish-eyed the lens, so they're new DRLs in the new bumper now too.

Would have been cool to go w/ the 2010 front end conversion, but like you mentioned, the wreck didn't effect those parts. If it did it may have been totaled

Thanks ZZ, I got one mirror cover done, but the other one didn't have the opposing weave that I requested, so it had to be re-done They do nice work so hopefully they'll be on the car mid-week
