Saw my first Q50 today

I see what looks like Maxima styling influence in the hood and front fenders. Dislike. I have to admit that most new car designs from Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and others are lost on me. Many are downright hideous.
I prefer the lines of the 37.

I agree, too much going on in the styling of some new cars these days. IMO the g37 is the perfect balance of style and subtle aggressivnes.

Well, I don't "hate" it. From some angles, the front seems a little over done. There seems to be a touch of Audi and Jaguar in there somewhere, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'm not sure I like how the front fenders/front end of the car comes together. Not hideous, but not as clean as I would like.
My big concern with this car continues to be the power train. Aside from the hybrid model, I'd like to see some updates in this area. Some more power, and a better transmission would be welcome. I'm hoping we might get those after a year or two on the refresh. I have to keep reminding myself that they build these things to a price, so I won't get everything I want, but a power bump at the very least isn't a lot to ask, is it?
Also, I'm not a marketing guy, but I've always like the fact that BMW (for example) has had a 3-Series for... well... ever. And a 5 series, 7 series, and so on. Yes, they add series from time to time, but there's something to be said for consistency IMO. We're now moving from 'G' to 'Q' and to me that dilutes the brand identity a bit. In 5-10 years, will it be the 'P'? I understand the need to innovate, but these cars occupy the exact same niche as their predecessors.
Just a pet peeve - I'll get off my soap box now
PS: Yes I remember that Inifinity has had Q as part of their brand for a long time.

Hmm, looks ok but I'll reserve my full decision for when I see one in person.
My thoughts about the front end exactly.

I think if they make this car more refined (e.g. road noise, 7AT shifting, etc) than the G37, they will draw a lot of potential buyers into the brand. I personally think the current engine is good enough for most people. However I won't be surprised if they decide upgrade the powertrain 2, 3 years later. It's just smart strategy.

These new Tennessee Pics are nice, anyone knows if this car will come with a spoiler. Rear seems so plain with out it. I almost signed up for one, due to my status with 30k miles on a 2012 (lease) i'm looking at 800-1200 a month.
