What do you think my car needs?

So picked up some 20" MSR wheels on craigslist for a really good price. I know, not the "best" wheels but I spend my $$$ on high end audio

I figured since I had the wheels and an hour of free time id mount them just to see how they look
I put them on with the tires the guy left on there. The tires are bald and need to be replaced ASAP.

Currently the tires are 225/35/20.
I plan on getting 245/35/20 installed tomorrow.

I know it needs a drop for sure, but I was also thinking 245/45/20 might look better. Any thoughts?

Just getting opinions

245/35/20 keeps the rolling diameter of the 20s dead on with the rolling diameter of the stock wheels if you're running a 9 wide wheel. its the tires im running on my car. im dropped on eibachs and heres now the tires look. dont know how wide your wheels are though..

Eibach pro-plus springs/sways kit...or Tanabe coil over kit.

Keep the chrome - goes with the lip on your rims.

I don't get why some are so against the chrome. It looks tight with my rims as well IMO.

Like SunnyD said, you want your diameter close to your original wheel size to keep your speedometer in range, and I've heard it can also affect your Traction Control and ABS sensors if your diameter is off by too much.

BTW, they might be a cheaper wheel but should look just fine w/ your current setup once you get it lowered a bit. I agree about leaving the chrome in your case, goes well w/ the whole look.

Do you know what tires you're getting? With some nice performing tires you'll be amazed what this car can do

I used a wheel calculator and 245/35/30 are pretty close to the factory 17" wheel and tire.
Thanks blnewt

gotcha. yea 245/35/20 is what you want to run. I'm running continental extreme contact dws and so far i like them a lot.

lemme know if you ever wanna meet up and check out each others rides since you're around the area. always fun to see what others have done in person (and with their permission...cause i find myself just walking around other peoples G's i see in parking lots and feel really shady haha)

Here is an after pic.
I think it looks good for a budget wheel set up.

Agreed, not a bad look at all
Like I said earlier, get some nice performance tires and you'll be lovin' it!
