I agree the net is mostly useless. I ended up with a similar trunk organizer but not nearly as masculine since my wife bought it for me at a purse party. I have entirely too much junk in the trunk with a sub, briefcase, bag full of cleats/socks/shorts, golf umbrella, roadside kit, baseball gear for three, and many other useless things.

Tell me more. What is a "side trunk net?" Does this create netted areas at the sides of the trunk (as opposed to the stock net, which walls off the rear of the trunk)?

If I buy the net hooks for the Maxima, is it a simple replacement for the G37's existing fasteners, or do I have to do some carving/drilling?

I was pretty dissapointed with my sedan trunk net, not enought room. When I had my coupe though the trunk net had more space.

Here ya go. I measured the distance when i had the 04 maxima and it was a little further apart in the g35 but it'll do. you replace the trim screws which are holding the side trims inside the trunk with the maxima and i think thats pretty much it. get the nets and there you go. its not the same type of net as the one in the g35, the maxima's side net doesn't have a 'pouch' do it holds the items in the corner.

I have the net, but use it only when needed. I leave one side unclipped most of the time as it just gets in the way.

This is my poor man's trunk organizer. It works exceptionally well

If you're wondering what that white thing dangling in the middle is, see this thread.
