Midnight Grille

Finally decided to do something on the 2009 xS, ordered a Midnight Grille, $189 shipped; c$160 + c$32 shipping. Will be getting it soon. Cant wait to install it. My first mod (besides changing the interior bulbs).

Here is my stock G.

I had vinyl wrap (black matte) on it for a little bit, but decided to get the glossy midnight black grille.

Just post the link, please. $189 is near half dealer ask on that hunk of plastic.

And what about the 2010-2013 crew?

Not sure about 2010-2013 crew. Just got lucky. Timing is everything I guess! I had been monitoring ebay for couple months and one fine day, it just shows up.

I checked their ebay store, and they want almost $300 for the 2010-2013 Sedan Midnight Grille, which isn't bad... but not a steal, either.

Anyway, thanks for the link, OP. I'm sure you're going to like the look of the new grille. Heck, if I were you, I'd probably switch it up a couple times a year; chrome for midnight and back again.

Cheers!

Thanks. I will have to switch just once first and see how that goes...

That's a great picture, I originally wanted white, but the Graphite shadow was $2k cheaper for no apparent reason when I bought mine.

I bought some Gloss black metalic vinyl, going to attempt to DIY wrap my grille for the midnight look to complete the F/R oem lip package I picked up this week.

Thanks, BLamb!

I took that shot the day after bringing the car home, with it backed into the garage. There's no touch-up on it, honest. The whole shadow effect was entirely by accident, but I loved it as soon as I saw what had happened. Exactly a year ago last week, in fact. Didn't even have plates yet, having driven it all the way home from New Jersey the night before.

I want to see your wrap effort on the grille. Start a thread, please.
