I've seen the OEMs lately for about $340 and they're paint matched. Probably about the same price or more once it's prepped and painted.
I wasn't aware Infiniti switched to just tape to hold on the newer OEM spoilers, any one confirm this? IMO tape wouldn't be enough.

I added the oem spoiler to my 09 about 6 months ago. It required drilling, so much more involved than just tape. I got mine from Beshoff Infiniti for just under $300 shipped.

I seriously don't think the guy knows anything about OEM products. The last Stillen sales guy I spoke to about their exhaust told me they were the ONLY company that made an exhaust for the X.

...and that would be $300 painted as well, right? It makes this Stillen price seem...not so great.

I just checked beshoffs eBay site and your right 295 color matched from Infiniti, sounds like a good deal too me , but I guess for people who don't want to go thru the hassle with drilling are better off with stillens wing.

Drilling is so permanent. Honestly, if its applied properly, the 3M tape should hold pretty well. Look at how hard it is to get those damn letters off for the debadge.

Curious to see what it looks like when someone orders it and installs it.

This is the spoiler I saw on the Maxima yesterday:

Not too shabby. Maybe the Stillen one won't look that bad. I'll probably pick this one up since I'm not sold on the looks of the OEM one.

Yup all painted and ready to go.

You know it was a little nerve racking to have to drill, but I know it's solidly in place. You don't know how many times my friends or wife have opened my trunk using the spoiler as a grip. I hate it, but can't ways catch then in time. At least I know it's not going anywhere.

Don't get me wrong I like the design of the stillen spoiler, and want to see it installed and painted. Just wanted to let everybody know that the stock spoiler can be had for much cheaper than double the price.

You can also install the oem spoiler without drilling the two holes outside the existing chrome piece. Here's a thread from 14 months ago, Oh & I got my OEM spoiler brand new & paint matched for $55 + $18 shipping on Ebay back then FTW

If you check this post you'll see the install DIY without drilling outside the chrome area (great if you ever want to remove it, or change back). Mine's been on since that thread and it lays as tight against the trunk lid as day one w/ perfect fitment.

I emailed sales requesting additional pictures. If they can send some better shots that show the entire rear perspective I will get it and have it installed by the end of the month.

I don't mind experimenting on this stuff since I have had some decent luck so far. My custom DLRs I had installed in my journey bumper turned out to be a good gamble.
