A full titanium exhaust does sound different than stainless steel. Many people do not like the sound of titanium because that "tinny" sound is characteristic of titanium.

You aren't kidding. I make long, years-away plans for mods, and often change my mind as I learn more about what I'm looking at. I was originally targeting Stillen, then Fast Intentions, and now I'm thinking GTHAUS.

A better representation is a soundbyte outside and not in a garage.

Just realized there was another Meisterschaft thread going on in the Coupe forum, where Diego is hanging out as well:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...terschaft.html

Which in of itself isn't that much different info going on here, except for one rather important thing that went unnoticed by me. The stainless steel Meisterschaft is expensive, sure, at $1,847 shipped. The thing is, that's just for the axle-back. I was eyeballing the website and it just didn't click that the price was axle-back only. So in case anyone else misinterpreted that like I did... there it is.

And now I have officially come back down to Earth, LOL.

That flyby sounds amazing. Damn it.

Cost aside, I think it's reasonable to say that Diego has answered the OP, when asked "what's the best axle-back for the G37?"

Meisterschaft uses the phrase SUS, which is some techy term for Stainless Steel.

That sounds really good. I wonder how a sedan would sound with this cat-back and if it fits the X...
