Bye bye sweet G37...
Helloooooo 335is!
As some of you already know, I found the car of my dreams, or close to it (an M3 competition package would have rounded that out). Found this 335is sales manager demo with 5000 miles on it which as you know gets titled as a brand new car with a new car warranty... for a steal. Got a great price and it had almost everything I wanted, including the interior color that is quite rare but beautiful.
The Q50 announcement pushed me over the edge to finally leave Infiniti which I still have a great love for. The fact is though that the omission of a new drive train just eliminated it from the running for a replacement to my current G as I don't want to pay more for mostly cosmetic and creature comfort upgrades. In fact, the 335is is a step down in some ways from my 2010 G, but not where it matters to me.
As a result of this purchase I'm going to be selling off some tasty G parts. Letting yall know in case someone wants dibs. I haven't figured pricing yet so this is just in case there's strong interest from a fellow board member. Will also be putting these up for local sale:
Future mods for the Bimmer: improved water and oil cooling capacity, brake work, and maybe an LSD swap using a junkyard pumpkin. No plans for power adders until I've done that stuff as I want to be able to confidently track her- real performance!
Anyhoot, on to the pics of the new ride!

How much for the leaves in the back corners of the engine compartment?
Best of luck with the new 3 - love the color combination.
If you are shipping, I'd be interested in the FSTB to 76092.
PM when ready....thanks and enjoy the new ride!

The interior, however, killed the E92 for me. Also, I was too afraid of reliability problems with the N54 engine in the 335is. The N55 in the 335i seems fine, but you don't get the DCT in the 335i, and BMW manual transmission is ok but not great. I was also looking at the M3, but the interior quality level was simply not acceptable to me for the price.
