Does she hate it, or just you? My Fiance drives a 4cyl accord which is still slower than the g25. I only drive it a few times a year though, if we go out in her car she drives, mine I drive. Fairly simple. It's not like the G25 is a crap car, still looks good from the outside and the interior is still "entry luxury".

Just a piece of advice, not sure if you frequently express frustration on the purchase to her or not (I understand why you're upset), but you don't want to stress your relationship over a stupid car. Just let her know that you'd like to be the one to be with her on all future major purchases and you wish she would have called you to let you know about the change before signing the contract. Then drop it and never bring it up again.

BTW for the 37X highway mpg is 25 vs 29 for the g25 4mpg savings over 40,000 miles is ~192 gallons of fuel, at $3.50 a gallon it's $672 ($768 at $4.00 per gallon) in fuel savings this year alone... Doesn't make up for getting ripped off but at least gives you a little relief.

Why not wait and trade it in on a new Q50? only a few months a way. Or wait untill the Q50 comes out and score some nice discounts on a G37?

My humble advice would be to list the G25 for sale and try to sell it privately so as to maximize whatever money you're going to get on its sale. Then take the money and buy whatever car you and your fiancé think would be best for you.

Going into a marriage means sharing good & bad. At some point that car is gonna cost you some $ since when you get married most Likely you will have a joint checking account, meaning at some point her payment is your payment. If she does 40k a year any high performance car is gonna be expensive. Most cars are 12k a year not 40k. My advice get rid of the g25 now. 600 a month, you can drive alot nicer cars than a g25. Sounds like she needs a Nissan sentra for the commute & a get her a 2-3 year old sports car for her, ***cough***cough actually for you. I handle all the car stuff in my house, my wife has other areas of expertise. Cars are not one of them. Good luck.

Does it have snow tires?

I have no problem safely driving my G37S on snow and icy roads...with proper tires.

Why not take it back to the dealership and see if you can find a used one with a CPO? That way you'll get the G37 you really wanted in the first place, the payments should be less, and you'll both be happier.

Apparently she does not respect your opinion, time, or expertise very much....or else she would have at least placed a phone call to you before signing on the dotted line. If daddy was purchasing the car for her it would be different...but apparently this is not the case

You have some big time thinking to do before you walk the isle. Sorry.

Whoever the OP is, is about useless..

He comes on here, bitches about how the G25 is the absolute WORST vehicle on the road, overpriced, etc etc.

People give him good solid advice.

He responds with more bitching about how its the absolute WORST vehicle and how it sickens him how much she pays..

IF YOUR SO SICK OF THE CAR PAYMENT AND THE CAR, GO PUT IT UP FOR SALE OR TRADE IT IN! There are MANY ways of getting out of a vehicle and its payment. Lets use this advice DOOD.

The G25 is far from a bad car. Just so you know that it beats the F30 328 in chassis dynamic and handling, and it has the best steering in class that full of top players in the business. It won't be the worst because of one overpaid for it. Just stick with it for a while, it is not wise to do anything to lose even more money.

Agreed, just because the G25 doesn't have 330hp doesn't mean its bad. It is still a very compelling and fun car to drive with an awesome playful chassis and the same great steering. Go throw it aorund some corners. G37, G35, G25, whatever, they aren't drag cars. Sports sedan, designed to be fun to drive. Thing can be fun to drive without a ton of power.

You act like your driving a 4 cylinder camry. Be thankful for what you got and embrace it. You have an entire life to buy and sell cars. Drive this one awhile, get your monies worth then sell it when the time is right and the right deal comes along. It is still a very nice car that many people would love to own.

Na that is a wrong assumption ... She had NO idea the difference between a 25 and a 37...she is a little prissy girl who works in the fashion district in NYC, she has no idea... When the scumbag dealer (Circle Infiniti) told her if she gets the 25 she will get better gas mileage and it will cost the game... They did it
