Bandit's Garage Project Completed! 4 Post Lift is in!
#2
(Had to break up the beggining of my Thread here, as it was too large of a Post)
Guys,
It's been awhile since I have posted. After I completed all my Infiniti Mods, I took a break as I was broke. I have been busy planning and researching my 2012 Garage Project which took place over the last 3 months and mostly in December. Here is a quick summary of what I did.
Garage Project 2012:
Epoxy Painted Garage Floor
Wired 220 Volt Power in ceiling for Lift
Added 3 110 outlets on front wall of garage in front of lift
Added 220 Volt in wall in front of lift just in case I need it
Added 2 High Lift Garage Door Kits (Pain in the neck
Added 2 Lift Master 3800 Openers (No openers above cars now)
(single garage never had any opener on it, it was hand open)
Outdoor wireless key Pad so I can open double garage from outside
Craftsman 3 Level Rolling Tool Chest (1/2 off Black Friday)
Puma 20 Gallon Air Compressor>>
Good Year 50 foot Air Hose Reel from Northern Tool
CraftsMan Stainless Steel Shop Vac
BendPak 9,000 lb 4 Post Lift (Custom Made Width) HD-7W
BendPak 4,500 lb. rolling hydraulic air jack (rolls along runways of lift)
Aluminum Drive on Ramps (Lighter than the 50 lb steel ones)
Plastic Drip Trays
Rolling Caster Kit so I CAN move lift if needed, but it's a Pain!
4 Ceiling Low Profile Fluorescent Lights (4 fixtures with 4 T8 5,000 bulbs in each fixture, super bright).
It took so much more work and $$$$ than I ever imagined. Everything took 5 times longer than anticipated, but I think all the research and planning was worth it. I think it is going to allow me to put all cars in the garage, allow me to do maintenance easily and quickly and is absolutely ridiculous to have in your garage, but I did it and now I am stuck with it. I am going to do oil changes and brake work change differential oil, etc etc.
The "High Lift" Garage Doors I did look so damn good (Not complimenting myself or anything,,,,LOL). They make the Garage look so much bigger and Open and no tracks going across the entire garage. I would have been happy with the Garage even without the Lift. of course the Lift was the Main thing, but I am saying all the stuff I did woudl still be cool even without the Lift.
Thanks for Looking and appreciate all the Infiniti Advice on here that I got from all of you.
Happy 2013 Everyone!

For the record guys. I WAS driving a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder the last 8 years that had over 250,000 miles before I traded it in and got my 2009 Infiniti G37 in May of 2012.
I am a Cheap SOB and this isn't something I just said I want a Lift and wrote a check and got it. Many parts all came together and to make it happen, but all the stuff I did and bought for the Garage , and to use and go with the Lift, Cost more than the Lift Itself!
I am broke now and am doing oil changes and brake jobs to buy food (Ramen 6 for $1).

Hey Bandit. Damn dude, nice work!! Looks awesome. I think you made most of us here just a tad bit jealous of your garage. Time, hard work and perseverance definately paid off. The 4 post lift is an awesome addition for sure. But I've got to say the high lift garage door tracks really made the most difference. That view from your stairs is fantastic! Tho will enjoy your garage for years to come!!! 👍
