Under the Mag-Moss Act the dealer has the burden of proof in showing that an aftermarket part caused the failure in order to deny a warranty claim. If you install an intake they 'could' deny an engine claim but not a suspension claim.

edit: this only applies to the US.

Your warranty is for 4 years, not 5 and it's for 60,000 miles not unlimited.

I have aftermarket sway bar and brought car in cause it feels loose/floaty. Dealer said they really can't look at closely because it could be the sway bar. I had swaybar for almost a year. Prior to this problem, I had creaking sound when I go over speed bump and dealer said it was sway bar caused heat shield to be out of spec. They can fix it for $. I brought it to another dealer and they just grease up sway bar, problem solved.

So some dealership are aftermarket friendly and some not do much. Question to yourself is are you willing to deal with the headache?

from the website

Every new Infiniti comes with the peace of mind of the Infiniti New Vehicle Limited Warranty, including 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain and 4-year/60,000-mile (whichever occurs first) basic coverage. These warranties provide broad coverage for worry-free ownership. Or purchase the Infiniti Elite Extended Protection Plan[*] for additional protection for covered components for up to 8 years or 120,000 miles and extend your 4-year Roadside Assistance. Visit the Ownership section for more detailed warranty information.

Simple answer, yes it will void your warranty.
Are you on good terms with the dealership?
My dealer never entered the fact my car was modified into their system so it did not affect the warranty.
