After-market mud-flaps for G37 sedan
Just bought 2013 G37x sedan. Infiniti mud flaps have no flap at all, so useless. The after-market mud-flaps I see on-line look like they would not be a good fit. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

^^^ This is why they were never called flaps, they are splash guards. They guard rocker panels from getting beaten up by road debris that kicked up by the tires. They also keep lower body cleaner when driven on wet roads. They also add styles to the car, I love the look with them installed. Mos '12 did not come with them, the first thing when I bought it was to ask the dealer to install them. It's a no brainer.

Aftermarket mud-flaps on a G? OMG, no.
Do yourself a favor, and put that idea on the shelf for a couple months before heading out to AutoZone.

I ran over some wet paint in my G about 2 weeks after i bought it and it sprayed all over the sides of the car. Luckily I was able to drive it straight to a self serve car wash and used their sprayer and got it all off. Ordered the OEM splash guards the same day.
Driving through rain or any dirty patches of road I have noticed they actually do a pretty decent job of protecting the sides of the car. I think they also complement the look rather than take away from it like some ugly black plastic ones would.

Wait... the splash guards are optional? I've never seen a G without them.

No splash guards on mine. I like it just the way it is. Its my
2nd G and never had a stone chip issue from slinging debris on the lower portions of the vehicle. I run some pretty flush wheels in the summer too.
