doesn't work with my car.

I've tried about 15 different ways and none of them work.

problem fixed!!!

I googled nissan door chime and found the results. I dont have the page book marked but basically the large white "block" in the middle of the fuse box was not pushed in all the way.

I noticed my clock had stopped also. **edit Homelink wont work if this plug isn't plugged in all the way*

It seems that you can take that block out when you are going to leave your car in storage for long periods of time. I guess it saves the battery or something?? I didnt notice any change

Now everything works with no problem. Chime works when I leave the car running but take the key with me or when I pop the trunk.

Thanks for the info blazeplacid. Can you please specify the location of the fuse box shown in the picture?

Its a fuse that is out when it comes from factory to save the battery mode, called shipping mode, when delivering the car from the dealership the sales people are suppose to push this in. Work s a few things (the clock like you said) you must have just tripped something when you were working on it.
