Carbon Fiber Hood

I've had this hood from Auto X Kits for about 3 months and finally got around to installing it on my wifes' G sedan. I will either paint it to match and leave the center section CF or shoot red tinted clear over all of it. The fit and finish are excellent. She loves the way it looks. I ordered new latches and seals, and transfered the washer parts from the stock hood.

Nice. You have any high resolution pictures? I clicked on the picture, but nothing.

Yeah, I'd like to see them bigger than my thumb too. Seeing you have a non-Sport it would be nice to see perspective on how mine could look with that hood.

I'll break out the camera and get some better shots. All I had was the phone and on my computer I can get them big enough to see details. I also had a hard time loading them on here, kept getting error messages.

Yes, she thought the stock hood lacked character. and this one looked better to me than some of the other hoods offered for the G sedans

They told me this was the first hood with this design for the sedan. I saw one on a white coupe back when I first started looking but can't find it on the internet now. It was painted white with the center section left carbon fiber. I original wanted a fiberglass hood, but was told they would only make CF. I was planning on painting it like their example but the CF sure looks good, I hate to cover up part of it with solid red, so I might just use tinted red clear to do the whole hood.

Who told you that we only make the hood in carbon fiber for the coupe?
we have the fiberglass version in stock.
carbon fiber is the only one made to order.
