What happened to the latest reading...haven't hit the hwy yet I presume.
Short trips from the house that had no power from hurricane Sandy to the local elementary school that was opened as a shelter and had a generator.

So I did ECU reset and drove the car for a month. Now it is showing 400/420 miles range on full gas tank. So maybe driving car for few 'K' miles and resetting ECU solved the problem.

Thanks all for your input.

Holy crap I didn't realize you sedan guys get 400+ miles on a tank. That's ridiculous! I don't remember the last time I even saw 300

We could get 400 miles a tank, but what's the fun in that?

OP, glad you seemed to have fixed the issue!

anyone think the summer gas vs winter gas could be the issue?

before it started getting cold my tank always said 420 miles to empty and I was getting 27MPG.
now its 22.5 MPG and 380 miles to empty

90% highway driving

Sounds about right - you usually see about 10% reduction in fuel efficiency with "winter gas." 420 - 42 = 378

I've gotten 500 miles to a tank on all highway driving. You gotta be a little lightfooted, but it's doable. 500/18 = 27.7 mpg

It definitely does make a difference.I get my best mpg between 60 and 80 degrees on summer gas. I only use regular 87 octane.
My best MPG on a single tank on a trip from NJ to Florida in December was 26.08 MPG from the Georgia State line to West Palm Beach Florida. 306 miles and used 11.778 gallons to fill up.
