Just get HFC's and you're set.

^ Thanks, Jsolo. Invidia offers regular tips as well as burnt tips and its a double walled configuration. This is exactly what i had one mine. You ask me what I prefer between Invidia and Tanabe? Well, they are both great sounding exhaust for our car. The difference between the two is that the Invidia Gemini system is a catalytic converter on back system, meaning that the system includes the y-pipe, mid-pipe, and rear mufflers. The Tanabe axle back system only includes the rear mufflers but you can buy the y-pipe and mid-pipe separately. The other difference is the price. It's going to be about a $250-$300 price difference between the two. The tanabe goes for around $650 shipped and the Invidia sells for around $850-$900 shipped. My choice is the Invidia because you get the entire system. If you get the tanabe and want to upgrade it later the tanabe mid-pipe and y-pipe is roughly $500 each making the entire tanabe catalytic converter on back system about $1,650.
But whatever you decide on it will be a great add-on to your investment. Another thing, listening to youtube videos on the exhaust sound doesn't do any justice. You would have to listen to it in person and see for yourself.

Here is what my Invidia Gemini looks like. I painted the mufflers flat black to retain the stock appearance.

Those tips really do look much better, I'll have to research the Invidia. Too bad you're not in Austin, I'd love to hear your setup in person. Your G is looking good! Thanks for the advice

Here's some pics of mine, stock rear bumper, invidia q300. Also included a few undercar shots. This was installed back in march, so holding up pretty good. Sorry about the quality, taken in the garage with poor lighting.

No muffler must be loud as hell!

+10 to this. I got the Stillen and have nasty drone from 1500-2500 on my 7AT. If I can't get it sorted out, it's coming off.

Stillen, Ark, and Miestershaft would be the loudest with the most drone in the cabin on low RPM. Fast Intentions, Greddy, HKS, and Tanabe Axle back would be some good contenders for you as well.
Which Invidia? Isn't' there 2? A Q300 and a gemini? Or are those the same? Super useful info here. I wish I read this before buying the Stillen. I guess I thought I could trust their website when it says "Zero Drone". Absolutely not true with a 7AT. I spoke with Ark and they said that they have drone, but that they believe they have the least. The person I spoke to at ARK said the Invidia they heard had a lot of low end drone at 1500-2500 RPMS. You're experience seems to say otherwise. I don't really care if the car makes noise when I floor it, that's what I want. I just HATE this constant drone when I've driving around town or on the freeway.

The Q300 is for coupes and the Gemini are for the sedans. I've had Stillen and Invidia. A friend of mine has Ark and the drone was as bad as the Stillen. With the invidia the low end drone from 1500k - 2500k is not noticeable. i don't know why Ark says their system is one of the most quiet. Its not. The quietest for our sedan will be stock, invidia, and tanabe. Adding HFC will only make it louder due to less resistance in the flow of gas and giving it more flow.

How is the sound at FT on the Gemini vs the stillen? Much quieter?

Just curious if you would mind answering this from above:

Stillen is now trying to help me solve the problem, but I'm rather convinced it is just the nature of their exhaust. I'd order an Invidia, but I'd like to know just how much or little drone it has. If I can't find something with no-drone I will likely just build something custom using the stock mufflers/resonaters.

the sound at FT on the Invidia is much more quieter than the Stillen. I hated my Stillen so bad due the the crazy amount of drone it produced from 1k - 3500 rpm. My girlfriend hated my Stillen and hates drone within the cabin. So when I bought the Invidia she thought that I had went back to stock just leaving my HFC but when I floored it she liked the deep purr of the Invidia at WOT.
