I'm not sure the G37 sedan, in particular the MT version, has any direct competition at all. The A4 and 3 series are way, way more expensive similarly equipped. Does anyone else even offer a 300+ hp, good handling MT car at about $40K?
Note (Pricing): It drives me absolutely bonkers when people say a car that costs $10,000 more is comparable. Let's dive a little deeper. People constantly get pricing wrong. They say a car is 25% more or 30% more. While true, that is irrelevant when making a purchasing decision. As the price of a purchase goes up, it eats further and further into your spending power, so it is non-linear. To get a better understanding, look at the extreme case. The price of a Veyron might as well be infinity, because I cannot afford one. IF the price goes up 25%, it has no impact on my ability to buy it. Another way to look at it. That extra $10K for a 335 is $10K of what I have LEFT, not of what I made. As you get closer and closer to your spending limit, every dollar counts more in your purchasing decsion.
Note (Power vs. Handling): I pee standing up and like girls, so I am only willing to trade so much power for handling, lol. So no 328 for me.

2. I don't know if people get pricing wrong or not, but BMW and Audi sales are up. I do agree with the thought if a car is out of my reach, it might as well be at "Infiniti". However, there are days I would rather be driving the 328. I don't care if it has less horsepower. As much as I love my G, it can be irritating between 10-30 mph in heavy traffic.

Just on my way to test drive a 335i and I had to see your post!
Great pics.
Great pics.
But yes, these pics show that Infiniti has TRULY upped their game. This car is going to have presence in the flesh and on the road. I think they really nailed the proportions and this is whats taking this car to a whole new level.
I wonder how Lexus feels comparing the new IS to the Q50. The IS looks too boy racer when you compare it to the Q50.

10 years and 2Gs. It's between the Q50, S5 and 335i. I will now wait till I can at least see a Q50.

Ahhhhh, what kind of tranny does she have? Same old 7AT or truly different....Does she have more Cup Holders, Just kidding. It looks like a beauty. I likey the color combo too: like a steel blue with a stone Interior. She's giving me pause on a contemplated deal on a early lease trade in for a 2013 M37x ...Maybe I'll catch her live at the NY Auto Show, coming my way soon....(I hope ther is a little more room in the interior).

When in everyday city driving condition, both in sport mode. the 328i actually feels quicker than the G37. it's a lot more nimble and responsive. the only advantage the G37 has might be from 60-80mph but I couldn't really tell because the 328i still pulls like a beast at that speed.
The only thing lacking in the 328 is the engine sound.

Yes, those appear to be the same calipers/rotors on the current sport pkg equipped cars. I certainly hope so because they are very adequate and there are already aftermarket lines, rotors, and pad options as well as full BBKs that will fit without waiting for the aftermarket to develop them.
