How come the IS gets a clock while the Q drops it? argh

They problably thought the clock was old school and wouldnt complement the new high tech touch screen just a guess

Remember infiniti came out with the ipl not to long ago g37 ipl.dont be surprised if they make the m, and the q50 ipl.
Just like audi has s4 s5.
Infiniti performance line will come in the future to most of our cars.
They are smart they know they have to compete with bmw m series, amg, and audi s line.
If its in our minds its in theirs to. Just have patience guys

Well they really didn't seem to know what they were doing. The IPL was a failure. That's what's scary, they introduced that as their performance line...... It was a joke to most

Ill ditch the clock for a better interior, that Lexus dash is hideous so boring and plain

The analog clock was no brainstorm of Infiniti.
My 1972 Ford LTD had one.

Maybe we should put the highbeam switch back on the floor.

They could have copied Apple 'sue the he!! out of them'... but I guess that was not Japanese style.

I think the more interesting observation here is that you're distinguishing between analog and digital on a 1972 Ford.

I for one really like the interior on the new IS. Especially that steering wheel. Verrry nice.

But since its not offered in a manual, it is off my shopping list. Plus it looks like an angry alien.

Because, just few short years later Ford replaced the analog with a 'digital display' clock. It was around '76. That was some high-tech, um, stuff.

The instrument cluster is dumb. Digital speedometer? Fail.

The is interior is pretty nice, everything flows really well. Not overly done but not too simplified at the same time.
