Yeah I thought so, I had to read more into the statement. I know the lumen output of current LED's still are no match for xenon just yet. Wishful thinking on my part, but if they now have LED front projectors with higher output than a few years ago, its just a matter of time before it could become reality.

Congrats - it's a fun car. I migrated to the German side (Audi S5) as well, although I kept the G37 (for my wife - it's funny how many now want the Q50 for the wife...) Did you get the 335is (the one with the N54 engine), or the regular 335i (with the N55 engine)?
Infiniti will no doubt lose a bunch of customers to BMW and Audi now that they didn't deliver what some enthusiasts expected from the Q50, but maybe it's a smart business decision overall for them - time will tell.
Why compete where there are already great choices on the market, and where they are behind. Instead, differentiate on a sporty hybrid that the competition doesn't have, plus some nifty new electronics. May make sense.

It wont win any head to head competitions, but it will give you great value and be a solid performer.
Performance numbers?
Or is this simply more conjuring?

There is always a turbo engine, just ask G37Sam or any number of other G37 owners. You just might not be able to buy it that way from Infiniti. And for a majority of those lamenting it's omission, if it had one in there form the factory you'd probably yank it out and upgrade it anyway!

And it bothers me that crappy sub 20k cars can design a car which has a better stance and even fender gap from front to rear, but still Infiniti and Lexus design their cars looking like the front is trying to do a pop up wheelie.
Im not riding a BMW bike anymore and wheelies are no longer cool.
......... and I know springs will fix the cosmetic issues, I just think the stance should come from the factory correct. Other cheaper car makers are doing it, get on the bus Infiniti.
Overall, it looks nice and will take some sales from the 3-series, C Class and A4, especially if it can still start in the 30s and significantly undercut the price of its competitors.

They are adding a touchscreen interface with "apps". But guess what...BMW already has apps in its media center today. Granted Infiniti probably will execute it in a better way, but it's not something new.
I agree with you on the stance 100%. Even my sport coupe with sport suspension looks like its on stilts

"I'm not so sure it will take sales from those you mention. All of those cars start in the $30s."
