This is a win for Infiniti. The new Q50 appears superior in every way that I can assess.
For folks complaining about the 3.7: That's why they have the Hybrid model for now and will likely have a new NA engine that will be introduced with the Coupe that will replace the current 3.7
Normally Infiniti's dont photograph well. This one actually does and will probably look stunning in person. I like

I actually must say that i really like the styling of this new version. It is a let down that there is no stick available, but it really makes me appreciate my TL SH-AWD that much more. It seems to me that i'm lucky that i still have a powerful AWD luxury sedan with a clutch. But....i will say i would be interested in buying this new version for the wife. We traded in her 2010 G37x for the 2012 Maxima w/Sport pkg......so when the time is up again for her to switch it up, the Q50 is on my Radar.

Funny, a lady just drove up in a FIAT convertable(if you want to call that), asked me where the Mitisubishi Eclipes spiders where. I informed her that they quit making them a year ago. I offered to show her a G37 convertible from our other house brand and she replied with "Why would I spend $50k on a car that looks the same?". She drove away in the god awful Fiat with the top down/open. Its 10 degrees out side, lucky for her she looked like she was well insulated

I'm not surprised Infiniti removed the analog clock. Lexus and Cadillac copied them putting an analog clock so why not be different and put in the touchscreen interface in the Q50? First car to do it so we'll see who starts copying them. I have to say that Infiniti has definitely stepped up in being innovators and leaders and not the followers.

Excellent. Well done, rpm.
This thread has been so much fun (for me). All the bashing aside, I'm sure the new Q50 will be a fine luxury car, and plenty of fun to drive compared to other cars in its class. Infiniti is clearly moving away from my automotive values, and that's OK. Nothing lasts forever. And truth be told, it makes me appreciate my car all the more.
Rock on.
