Long time G35 coupe owner just came back to the Infiniti family

Picking up my new 2012 G37S with all the bells and whistles today. I was looking for a daily driver for the wife I ended up with this car. The lease was so good I would be an idiot to pass it up. I was looking at a Camry and the lease wasn't even close to this one 278/month on a G37 while 380/month for a Camry not even top of the line. I miss the VQ growl under the hood and exhaust note at the rear. My first time here in this forum been at G35 driver forever I hope to learn more about this car on this forum. Dang I'm excited I can't wait to pick it up today.

The G35 was what I fell in love with and was a car I always wanted.

Ended up with my G37 though.

Welcome to the forum!

Riverside Infiniti is where I got mine this is a nationwide promo until the end of July. After the July the 18 months lease will be gone. By the time my lease ends the new G body style will be coming out hopefully I'll like the new one otherwise I'll purchase this one at end of lease.

Thank you for all the well wishers happy to be here I just got back from the dealer and the car is sitting in the garage right now. I must say it is more peppy than my E350 and Sport edition on the G has a stiffer ride but I like the handling on curvy roads. I can't really beat it up right now only has 70 miles on it so I have to wait a bit before I give her a go. I'll post pics shortly it took forever to get out of the dealer to many people ahead of me I can't get out right away. Overall I'm very happy with the car so is the wife she loves the color combo although I did like the pearl white better with black interior someone beat me to it. Anyways, let me edit some pics and I'll post it asap forgive the quality I took pics at night didn't get it out of the detailing area til it was dark. I'll take more pics tomorrow when there is daylight out hopefully the pics will do it justice.

Mod bug?! LOL! I use to sell all the mods on driver lol so I know all about mods. Well this is only an 18 month lease so no mods on the car until the end of the lease if I will buy it back or get the new 2014 body style.

Love your enthusiasm. Jouney/Sport is a great combo if you need the 7AT.

If you were actually considering a Camry (really?), then you're in for quite a treat. This is so much more of a performance sedan. You're going to love it.

Looking at your pics... where's your ebrake? OMG, do AT's have their ebrake on the floor? Is THIS the reason why my cupholders are so useless? Can't believe I never realized that until now.

The E-Brake sucks. Hate it. Even in an emergency braking situation, I don't know how anyone could easily manage comparative to the 6MT E-Brake. It would be cool if the E-Brake was like the one in the 6MT S, and kept the premium as is.

But beautiful car OP! Love the E and the G. Any plans for first mods?

Welcome and I feel the same about the white/black combo... I ended up getting same color as you cause I got a better deal at a different dealership and they were out of white. Now I love the Liquid platinum and you will too.

BTW. Selling some really nice wheels in the classifieds just in case you are thinking or getting new wheels.

No mods for now this is only a an 18 month lease so it's not worth spending money on. I will have to wait and see how the new 2014 G will look before I decide to keep the car or replace it with a new one later. I like the car the way it is right now. Besides it's the wife who will be driving it not me. Had to fight her off from driving the car home yesterday almost left her at the dealer lol. Luckily she agreed to let me drive otherwise it will be a long walk for her lol!
