Just Got Some FI!

I just got some FI Resonated HFCs in today from the group buy. First, Lance was great to work with in making these parts happen. Look into the group buy if you're interested, because if you aren't, you should be. Tony's operation turns out a great looking product, with quality welds and a nice finish. The packaging was on par, and arrived with not a dent in the box. On my G, the FI RHFCs will be paired with a Stillen exhaust; at least for now.

This thread will be updated as I go through the process of installing these over the weekend, but today I'm starting off right out of the box. Enjoy.

Yeah it's different. What I do know is it has more material than the coupe.

2.5" or 2.25"?? im running the 2.25" to match with the FI 2.25" on the FI caback. I love it! make sure whatever shop is doing it does the gaskets right! FI doesnt use any gaskets on the cat to header connection (especially reusing the factory gaskets) they just use some red silicone to seal it.

I'll have to measure the pipe size, but you bring up a good point with the gaskets. The instructions were very detailed and mentioned using high-heat silicone to seal the cats to the manifold.

Tony normally builds the sedan spec to 2.25 to match his Catback system, but since you are running stillen it would be 2.5.

I remember telling my wife the day I bought my Z; "I promise I won't mod the car." Two years later it was boosted.
